Cultural Architecture

Cultural Architecture
With my strong fascination with buildings and the influence of Feininger’s paintings on architecture, I sketched a series of buildings which take the form of religious architecture such as churches, temples, and mosques. At the front, the left is an abstract form of a mosque and the right is an abstract form of a church building. At the back, the left is an abstract form of an Indian temple whilst the right is an abstract form of a Chinese temple. The cultural elements are merged together so as to convey unity among the many cultures in a multi-racial country such as Malaysia.
